I d say especially club djs don t use vinyl anymore. My question is do they use the pcs to better mix the tracks or are the tracs all stored on mp3 lossless digital audio formats to remove the hasttle of. The technology has advanced to a level where you can build a very decent dj rig for a fairly cheap price. Several clubs i work with have been refurbishing their technics 1200 decks since more djs are requesting them.
They may still have a turntable but that is a digital one which is just used to imitate scratches on digital files or mix to tracks together live.
